Travel Permits
International Driver’s Permit (IDP)
An IDP translates your Zambian driver’s license for legal driving or renting in over 150 countries, including the USA, Europe, and Africa.
- Valid Zambian driver’s license
- Completed IDP application form (available at AAZ offices)
- Proof of identity (e.g., Zambian National ID or passport)
- Applicable fee

A CPD lets Zambian motorists temporarily take vehicles abroad duty-free under UN Conventions. Issued by AAZ for hassle-free travel.
